Turret Studios is a creative initiative at West Edge Factory by Coalfield Development. In addition to Turret Studios, this 14,000-square-foot facility includes a community meeting space, theater, a solar installation learning center and practice roof, an agriculture aggregation and distribution facility, and ample tenant space.
Come and create with us at one of our frequent workshops, view an exhibit of the work of regional artist or rent the space for your own creative event.

Each artist will have 225 square feet of studio space within a larger communal space flooded with natural light on either the wheel-chair accessible main floor or second floor. Turret Studios are equipped with easels, stools, storage cabinets, a large sink, and restroom. The Turret Studios are perfect for drawing, painting, and mixed media. An exterior area is designated for spray applications. A separate entrance exclusive to occupants allows for 24-hour access. There is a security system with video surveillance. Specialized studio equipment is not provided
The monthly studio fee includes utilities and WiFi. Parking is free and Turret Studios are two blocks from the public bus route. A playground is adjacent to Turret Studios.
The studio fee is $300. A variable reduced fee is available in exchange for community service in the form of a Creative Impact project at West Edge Factory.
