DESCRIPTION:Second Annual Ground-Up Gathering: Celebrating Appalachian People Unlocking Their Potential\, Power\, and Purpose \nThe Ground-Up Gathering is a no-cost community gathering sponsored by Coalfield Development. \n\nFarm-to Table Dinner\n\nLocally sourced by Refresh Appalachia and its partners\, catered by James Beard Awarded Chef Paul of 1010 Bridge\n\n\nLive Music\n\nProudly performed by local musicians\n\n\nCommunity Workshops\n\nHands-on learning opportunities with Coalfield’s programs and enterprises\n\n\n\n  \nYou’ll chat with folks exiting recovery or incarceration who have taken control of their lives again and lead inspiring work\, you’ll see the largest nonprofit based solar array in West Virginia (installed by local trainees) power our building\, you’ll directly be 1 of 3\,000 people we’ll have trained in our innovative workshops\, taste nationally acclaimed local foods\, learn about and support other local nonprofits and initiatives\, and walk away hopeful for West Virginia’s future! \nWe can only host about 500 people for this event\, so please sign up for free as soon as possible.\n \n
